Nightlife entrepreneur Matt Shendell, best known for catering "it" neighbourhood locations is now taking his latest venture west. With recent success such as Shampu, Natica, Dip, Cain Southampton and Proof, matt is prepared to improve upon the gertrification of the Meatpacking District.
On August 10, 2006 Shendell and the Paid Restaurant Group launched exactly what the neighbourhood has been waiting for, Honey. Honey is a charming environment catering to the locals, foodies and night owls. With exposed brick, warm mahogany paneling, chocolate brown leather banquettes and a 25 foot amber backlit bar, this 3,000 square foot venue is set to be the neighborhood sweet spot. Shendell's expertise in transitioning a venue experience from restaurant to bar to late night lounge has proved flawless time after time. This prcedent gives Honey-goers a well-rounded experience for every mood.
