West 49 has become Eastern Canada’s Premier skateboard/snowboard/surf store, and that does not go without reason. I’m sure you have either been to one of West 49’s mega events or have wanted to attend. Including last November when they hosted the 3^rd annual 2004 West 49 Canadian Open World Cup Skateboard Championship at the Hershey Center in Hamilton. The event brought X-Games Super Stars Pierre Luc Gagnon, Bucky Lasek, Shaun White, Ryan Sheckler, Sandros Dias, Vanessa Torres and over a 140 of the world's best pro skaters. This was the largest skateboard event in Eastern Canada with over $75,000 USD in prize winnings.
